Hi, my name is Kameron Hagler. I’m 26 years old and the owner of Don’t Back Down. I’ve been running this business for the past three years.

For those of you who may not know, I live with a disease called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. If you’re unfamiliar with it, Duchenne is a condition that causes a gradual deterioration of the muscular system, and unfortunately, there is no cure.

That said, I have been incredibly blessed. At 26 years old, I am still able to walk, something that is almost unheard of for individuals with this disease. I don’t take that lightly.

A few years ago, I decided to start Don’t Back Down as a way to bring awareness to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and to hopefully inspire others through my work and my story. When I first started, I never imagined it would grow into what it is today. I truly wouldn’t be where I am without the support of each and every one of you.

Before this turns into my entire life story, I’ll leave you with the Bible verse that I include on all of my designs and live by daily:

Philippians 4:13 — “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
